Parish Presbyterian Church

Vision & History

Who we are and where we've come from

Our Vision

We view worship as foundational, with discipleship, fellowship, service, and mission flowing from this center.

Scripture Primacy

The Bible is central to our life and worship. We are called by God's word, sing God's word, preach God's word, pray God's word, and see God's word in bread, wine, and water.

Gospel Holiness

We pursue holiness through discipleship across generations, growing together in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Community Focus

We need to know each other, care for each other, and walk out the Word together. The church is a family of families.

Educational Commitment

We are committed to the education of our children and equipping parents to raise them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Intentional Growth

We favor multiplication over mega-church expansion, planting new churches to spread the worship of the Triune God.

Reverent Worship

Our worship is full of reverence and awe in the presence of God, paired with in-depth Bible teaching.

Our History

Parish Presbyterian has experienced growing pains, excitement, and the joy of new beginnings—committed to continued growth and Gospel advancement.

2006

Founding

Pastor George Grant and leaders from Christ Community Church planted Parish Presbyterian in the Historic Downtown Chapel in Franklin, Tennessee.

2006–2010

Growth Phase

The congregation expanded rapidly, requiring three morning worship services within just four years.

2010

Expansion & Planting

Parish relocated to Clovercroft Road in east Franklin, catalyzing the establishment of a daughter church, Cornerstone Presbyterian.

Today

Continued Mission

We continue to gather for worship at 8:30 AM and 11:15 AM, committed to the ordinary means of grace and the spread of the Gospel both near and far.
